Fantastic house, loads of history. Beautiful surroundings, lovely friendly hosts.

We had an excellent overnight stay and it was hard to fault the hotel. Excellent in every way.

We had a little difficulty on arrival because there was a no entry sign across the road leading to the village and we went past it. We eventually found our way and had to swerve round the barrier. Had we been told about this, we would have found the village more easily. The once abandoned hilltop village has been sensitively restored and is now mainly reliant on tourism. Beautiful apartment — absolutely loved it! The swimming pool and rooftop terrace were fantastic and really made our stay special. 🏊‍♀️☀️ There’s also a small kitchen on the first floor, which was fab for grabbing plates, glasses and cutlery so you can enjoy a little picnic up on the rooftop terrace. They even provide fresh towels for the pool, which was a lovely touch. ❤️

We got a really warm and helpful welcome. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes from the university complex. The room was super, breakfast was lovely. There is nothing to fault. We love this place.

We had a fantastic stay in the Sapentia. We were there for a week and got to know the local area well and built a nice relationship with the staff too. The Hotel is situated in great spot, some of the rooms have great views towards the river. The only issue is parking. The location is on a tiny street adjacent to the University. If you can, don’t have a car. If you do, prepare to have to move to about a bit potentially. The hotel helped us a lot and we managed ok, the car remained, miraculously,...

The owners were so nice and very helpful as well as suggesting local restaurants . Location was excellent and we could walk to everything we wanted to visit

Loved the hotel. The location was a bit further from where we ideally wanted to be but the staff were great, service was good and overall an excellent experience.
