"I was a little skeptical at first because this hotel had one of the lowest rates I could find in Oslo that day, especially compared with other hotels, but overall I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, including a small balcony. The shower was very good with consistently hot water, which I really appreciated. I didn’t try the breakfast because I personally prefer to have breakfast outside and interact with local people, so I can’t comment on that. The location is also very convenient, only about two stops from Oslo Central Station, with downtown around 10 minutes away or even less. The train station is very close, and there are plenty of restaurants and activity around the hotel, so the area feels lively. Overall, for the price I paid, I think it was very good value and a convenient place to stay in Oslo"

"Safe and pleasant, central location which is good. My room was very small, as was the double bed. Basic but fine for a couple of days. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inoffensive but not luxury. I thought the rooms would be cooler and more ikea like, I had an orange room which was just dingy. I think other rooms are probably nicer. Felt it needed redecorating. Perfectly ok place to stay."

"Extraordinary place. Great character, spacious rooms, super helpful staff, superb restaurant, great lap pool, reasonable prices. My only caution is to avoid the rooms with twin beds- they are narrow (like railway car) rooms with comfortable beds but no seating areas. Unless you’re putting your kids in these rooms you’re better advised to rent two standard rooms, which are great."
