"Great all around"

Oceanfront Pan American Hotel

"This is our first time staying at the PanAmerican. We usually stay at the Fleur de Lis because of their high standards for cleanliness and attention to detail. PanAmerican is a close second to the Fleur. The property is right by the beach and the rooms are well laid out. The front desk staff are very polite and attentive. The onsite restaurant offers decent food and service, although the menu is pricey. Onsite parking is a plus. My husband and daughter enjoyed the large heated pool. Our room had a queen bed and pullout sofa bed. Both beds were quite hard which was rough on my joints and made sleep difficult. The room was cleaner than most average hotels, but there were little things like finding an orthodontic rubber band in the sofa bed, other people's hair in the tub and finding moldy spots on the shower curtain that took away from a perfect score for this property. I am used to arriving to an immaculate room that has a broom, dust pan and disinfectant spray available in room. If you are very uptight about details, this might not be the spot for you. If you are flexible and willing to overlook minor issues, the PanAmerican is a solid choice."

"The staff were great, super friendly and very helpful. As soon as you walk in the office someone greets and helps you. I asked if we could be on an upper floor and they did accommodate that which was great. The pool was nice and heated. The location was right on the beach with a pretty view and the room was clean. The only minor issues I have which is just my personal preference, as it may not matter to others. But the parking is extremely tight. You will have to have everyone get out of the car before you park and pull the car out before people can get in. I also didn’t realize that the balconies are all connected unless you are ocean front. Again this is just my personal preference. Other than that I felt it was a wonderful weekend getaway with my children and we would stay again!"

"Stayed here at the end of June for beach blast. This property is located just feet away from the at the end of the broad walk. A short walk and you can catch the tram to morey pier or it is about a 10-15min walk. The property is clean and nicely maintained. The parking spots are a bit tight but as I looked around all the other properties their parking spaces were about the same. The pool goes to 5ft and is a nice size. My child and her soccer team mates had a great time swimming in the pool after a day at the pier. The pictures don’t do it justice. I would definitely stay here again. Loved that it had a mini kitchen small stove top microwave and mini fridge, I couldn’t get the temp right on the fridge but I think that was user error and I didn’t asked the staff for help. Check in and check out staff were nice and friendly. Didn’t have to interact with anyone other staff besides that. Overall great stay. Only con bed was a bit too soft and bring your own beach towels."
