"The nightstands on either side of the King bed were pretty awful. Quite small, too small to rest glasses, a book and a phone. Top of nightstands much too high above bed (about 12"), so person in bed needs to reach far up and sharp corners of stands could injure a person that falls against them. Nightstand lamps too dim for application, and too high up, can't reach switch from bed. "Small old school single level motel, but it's in beautiful condition, very well maintained and cared for. I got the impression the owners live in the attached home, which is probably why it's so nice. My only actual complaint is the free breakfast was lacking. "I'm sorry to disagree with some of these other reviews. I was unimpressed with this hotel. The room had a slight musty odor, and the bed was a bit outdated and somewhat saggy. Loved the good hot shower though, with lots of pressure. Please take some of the renovation money you are spending and buy a new toaster for the breakfast area!"
