"Stayed for a few nights on Shenandoah road trip. Older hotel with comfortable rooms and warm and accommodating staff. Breakfast was varied and refilled quickly, including real (not powdered) eggs and the best buttery grits I’ve had in a while. Not fancy by any stretch but absolutely a solid choice. Convenient to UVA, Monticello, many nice restaurants and the craft beverage trail. Next to a greenway, which was a plus when traveling with our dog."

"A very clean an well keep hotel. The staff was great. Because it was my dogs first trip and stay. So they helped alot keeping her calm."

"Nice redo of an old structure! Decor is cool. Check in was easy . Very close to restaurants and UVA grounds. Room noise next door was a problem late at night . Front desk did assist with addressing. You can hear through the walls quite easily! Also the train is so close-it’s super loud !! Coffee was promised at 6 am, I went to lobby at 8 am and no one was at the desk and no coffee had been brewed."

"We loved our overnight stay in the deluxe studio (no 5). We arrived to a spotlessly clean, well equipped apartment with lots of little touches to make our stay comfortable. The location is great - away from the town, but very quick to get to downtown. The historic Jefferson Monticello house and other historic sights were nearby but as we were short for time we made a priority of walking down the downtown mall in the evening and visiting the UVA especially the rotunda and the university chapel in the morning before we moved on. Charlottesville is a lovely town!"
