The Pathmaker Hotel

"We had an excellent stay and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel is exceptionally clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. If the traditional “old quilt on every bed” Maine aesthetic isn’t your style, this property offers a much more contemporary experience without sacrificing comfort. The rooms were surprisingly quiet and well insulated—we never heard noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway, which is rare and a huge plus for light sleepers. The location was perfect. We were able to walk easily to Bar Harbor’s shops and restaurants as well as the sand bar leading to Bar Island. Parking was convenient and hassle-free in the covered garage below the hotel. The food, cocktails, and overall bar experience exceeded our expectations and were among the highlights of our stay. Combined with the friendly staff, spotless rooms, and unbeatable location, this made for a fantastic visit. We’d return in a heartbeat."

"Loved the walking proximity to all Bar Harbor has to offer. Great to catch hikes at Acadi then be 10 min away from food and other options in Bar Harbor. Loved the complimentary snacks, water bottle fill station and coffee. Great convenience."
Terramor Outdoor Resort

"We absolutely loved our stay at Terramor! Our kids 5 and 2 enjoyed every moment and didn’t want to leave. We stayed 3 nights in the Birch tents and it was the perfect size. We enjoyed the pool and wish we had more time to just spend a day hanging out at the pool and lounging. We had dinner there one night and ate the breakfast there each morning. We had a camfire and s’mores, enjoyed Shane’s ice cream in the freezer, and the cozy fireplace. Loved the beer selection. Our kids loved being wheeled by the wagons and walk the secret boardwalk. It was nice to have a fancy fellow kettle and coffee along with included firewood and ice. Also the location of Terramor was perfect to explore Bar Harbor, Acadia and enjoy lobster pounds such as Abel’s and Bar Harbor Lobster. We even rented bikes in Bar Harbor for the carriage roads. Thank you Terramor for one of the most memorable experiences we have had as a family!"

"The quiet hotel was a last minute reservation and I had no idea what to expect. The Queen Anne's Revenge is located 1 block off the main street and a few blocks from the ocean. The property is well kept and staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is tight but available. It consists of several houses that have been converted into rooms. My room was a king on the ground floor and was much larger then I anticipated. Well appointed and clean with a large bathroom. I especially appreciated the quietness and calm of the property. The flowerbeds and walkways were beautiful. I've stayed at the Harborside and West Front Hotel a few times but I think I am be switching hotels in future visits."
