We truly enjoyed our stay with our hosts, John and Beth. Their suggestion of Snoqualme Falls park was a highlight that we never would have considered. Only qualm would be, a more comfortable couch and chair to lounge in.

We had an excellent stay. John and Beth were so nice and even blessed us with some homemade cakes. Highly recommend for any type of vacation or get away.

Peaceful and beautiful retreat
We found Cottage Lake Bed and Breakfast to be a peaceful and very comfortable retreat for a couple of days. The accommodations are comfortable, spacious and private and the view was special. We enjoyed visiting with our hosts very much and took advantage of their very eclectic collection of books and music. We would happily return again in the future for another stay.

Lovely, peaceful place. Gorgeous water view amidst a deck and yard filled with flowers. Hosts are thoughtful and kind. Area is close to vineyards and other events.

This place was simply amazing! From The hot tub overlooking looking the lake to the fire pit on the dock there is no bad view. The view from the office is a writer’s dream. The breakfast was so good and healthy. John and Beth are so kind and really go out of their way to make your stay special. It is the perfect romantic getaway. We will be back but for more than a weekend!

wonderful experience
We had our morning coffee in the gazebo with a fire in the fire pit, watching the birds and animal life in the lake. My wife decided they have their own lake monster,(or maybe a beaver)lol. There is a wonderful library to use with many classic titles. Quiet, peaceful, and many wineries, hiking and waterfalls nearby. Perfect variety of food for breakfast. Best of all the owners John and Beth are respectful, friendly and just wonderful people. If it was warmer, we would have taken out the kayaks and looked for that lake monster. LOL. The tree house is an amazing place to visit, what a view of the lake from up there. Only concern is the hill the cottage is on, I thought I would fall. Once I got used to the rocks that are NOT slippery at all, I was able to walk up an down to the lake without concern. Thank you for a wonderful vacation

The owners, John and Beth were so kind and hospitable. We were treated like family! The cottage is on the lake with beautiful views and wildlife. Saw a resident bald eagle frequently. Breakfast was delicious and our stay was amazing! Thank you to John and Beth for such a wonderful time! We will be back.

Although we have almost always great guests, you guys were wonderful. Though it does not always happen, staying for a week as you did allows us to get to know each other better and we sure enjoyed doing that. Very much look forward to seeing you again.

Relaxing perfect getaway
We went to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary and it was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. We loved it. Plus super convenient to the wineries with a cab ride. Also the hot tub and view and breakfast by the lake was amazing !

Very quiet place by the lake. Nice bedroom with family room connected. Beth and John were very nice host of the cottage. Only downside was the bathroom was a distance away from bedroom. For older people might be a problem when they have to rush. Carry light suitcases for carrying distance from parking to entrance, a little walk. Very nice couple.

Thanks for your comments. You were pleasant guests to have and are welcome back anytime, though I think in the warmer months (April-October), aside from the pleasure of being on the lake, you'd enjoy swimming and using the kayaks as well. It's a little more then like your California weather.

On the water's edge
We stayed in a room, not in a treehouse. It was lovely! The room is tastefully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Overall throughout the property, every detail is thought of. The hosts are the nicest people. Beth was lovely to talk to and John played guitar for us while we were having breakfast. Harley, their dog, is very friendly and will greet you like an old friend. I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the lake. You can kayak or swim or bring a floatie and float. Thank you for openning your home to us!

Since 2017 the tree house is no longer rented. We only rent the 5 room Lakeside Bedroom Suite. We understand every quality, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. So glad every guest but this one gave it a perfect score and even this one found our location and service amazing. Thank you all..

Our stay at the Treehouse was nothing short of perfect. The view is incredible and the hosts Beth and John are outstanding. Breakfast was amazing! The area has much to explore. I highly recommend this as a destination if you are into tree houses!

Perfection in a tree!
We stayed at Cottage Lake on our last night of our honeymoon roadtrip. John, Beth and Harley the dog were wonderful hosts and we were made to feel completely at home in the beautiful surroundings as soon as we arrived. There is a terrace overlooking the lake, with a fire for when it gets dark, as well as a hot tub perfectly located under the treehouse itself. The room is absolute perfection, with everything you need for a comfortable stay and even coffee making facilities in the tree! We loved our breakfast on the deck nestled up in the branches, and the homemade flatbread pizza was an added bonus for our dinner meaning we didn't have to go out to find food! The warmth and attention of our hosts was really touching, we felt like a part of their family during the stay. We hope to return and spend more time in The Nest with our new friends.

Lake Views
Stayed here 6 days and it was amazing. Owned by a wonderful couple who want to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Breakfast was wonderful and was great to have healthy, fresh food every morning! The cottage is right on the lake, so the view of the lake is amazing and there are plenty of seating so you can kick back and enjoy a nice evening!
