"Awesome stay!
We booked a stay to catch up with dear old friends as they passed through on a quick trip through KS, close— yet some miles from where we live for a quick reunion. We arrived too late for the provided evening appetizers & drinks but our friends made it in time and commented on how wonderful and unexpected that was and mentioned how one could make an evening meal of that offering alone, which they did.
We had our supper that evening in the restaurant and the shrimp scampi was absolutely delicious! Yummmmmm!!!! I’ll just bet locals drop in for Yummmm tasty dinners!!!!
In the morning after a refreshing shower, (my hair and skin just loved that water), we headed out for a lovely breakfast. They offered different things for different tastes. We enjoyed the scrambled eggs, fried breakfast potatoes, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with banana slices and yogurt cups. We only stayed one night so I couldn’t tell you if those items are on the breakfast menu every morning. I did see muffins and cereals and am sure there were other options too, I saw a girl enjoying boiled eggs, and saw a mom instructing her son on cooking himself a waffle (my pancakes were cooked and ready for me).
A nice relaxed atmosphere! Beautiful place to catch up with old friends after years and miles apart! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! For the amenities and atmosphere you can’t beat the price!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay Drury!!! We enjoyed it & will do it again sometime!!!"
