"We enjoyed our stay here very much! It is TOTALLY worth staying here for a day or two. You get first access to saying good morning to the elephants before all the day-trippers arrive, and it's lovely to walk around the park in the evening. We came in Jan/26, so the park was very quiet guest wise. Breakfast and dinners were great (not included for us) and reasonably priced. As for the treatment of the ellies - they are well taken care of and have a much better life than before their arrival to Mason. Please watch the informative video, and talk to the mahouts. They are knowledgable and happy to answer questions! AS OF JAN 25 there are no more elephant rides - which was fine by us!! Just happy to be around such big beautiful gentle creatures. "
"Excellent hospitality. Lovely staff who are very helpful and courteous. Beautiful establishment and spaces. They actually cleaned when you called for house keeping, not just tidied up. The food and drinks were very tasty as well. Great amenities. Loved and very much enjoyed my stay here. "
"What a stellar experience! From the moment we stepped foot into the resort, we were welcomed with so much warmth and enthusiasm from every single staff member.
I made a note that this trip was for my girlie's birthday, and they decorated our bed with rose petals, filled our bathtub w flowers, and even delivered a cake to our door while singing happy birthday.
Denny, the manager, ensured everyone on the team was working in unison and now that we're at another resort in Uluwatu, we can't wait for our next trip back here at Wapa Di Ume in Ubud.
Trust me, I rarely leave reviews- good or bad- but this was well worth it! This is the kind of resort that will shape your entire Bali experience."
"It was wonderful. The staff were outstanding. All of them. So attentive and friendly and caring, they really made me feel at home. The rooms and facilities were outstanding and the food was delicious at every meal."
"This is a brand-new hotel, and honestly, I was very impressed by the level of service. Even though it’s an independent brand, the service easily matches that of major international hotel chains. Breakfast was excellent, with a strong focus on healthy options, and the fresh juices were especially refreshing.
I stayed in the mezzanine villa, which was absolutely amazing. The spacious layout and the large bathtub were real highlights. Everything was perfect, and I will definitely be coming back."
"The rooms were clean and large. Even though it is somewhat worn and dated, everything worked. We had one issue with the A/C remote that was fixed immediately.
The staff were all warm and friendly. We arrived late and the restaurant just closed but Kaden and her colleagues scrambled around to get us snacks and a beverage. We had all our meals in the onsite restaurant and they were all good. Breakfast buffet was good value.
My wife and I had a spa treatment for two. My wife said it was the best massage she’s ever had. "
Equipoise Resort & Spa Ubud by Ini Vie Hospitality
10/10 Excellent
"My partner Arron and I stayed at Equipoise Resort & Spa, originally just for one night, but we loved it so much that we ended up extending our stay for an extra night.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was amazing. The check in was honestly the best we’ve ever had. We were welcomed with drinks and a relaxing foot spa, which immediately made us feel calm and taken care of. The hotel really is a hidden gem in Bali and such a perfect escape if you’re looking for peace and a wellness focused stay.
The villas are beautiful and incredibly picturesque, surrounded by nature and so quiet. We booked a couples massage and had dinner and breakfast at the resort, and everything was excellent. The food, the atmosphere and the level of care from the staff all stood out.
A huge thank you to Degung and the entire team, who were so attentive, warm and thorough throughout our stay. You can really feel how much they care about their guests.
I vlogged the whole experience and can’t wait to share it. We will definitely be back. It is the kind of place you do not want to leave and immediately start planning your return to."
"5 stars! Beautiful hotel with first class service. They had a kids center for kids and an onsite petting area with various animals. Their breakfast and dinner buffets were also amazing and the room views are spectacular! "
