"I loved the staff. We came for our anniversary and could not have had a better experience. The staff were friendly, personable, decorated our canvas and were so helpful! The facilities were clean, perfect for me as a non-camper and yet the perfect camping experience for my very pro-camping husband. The toilets, showers and towels were all very clean and accessible. Our canvas tent was beautiful, very cool despite the hot weather, and the personal fans were awesome. McKenna checked us in so quickly and was incredible to work with. "Beautiful location. Mata, the property manager and host for our visit was so helpful. She even came back after hours to let us back into our room when we lost our key to the room outside in the yard. We plan on going back again."
Sorrel River Ranch Resort

"Sadly, Sorel is too expensive for what it is. It's obvious it used to be amazing but it's in need of a maintenance team and general refreshing. The rooms are clean but old. The hotel is seriously understaffed (one poor waiter in the restaurant) and the front desk staff is hit or miss. There are lightbulbs out all around the property and everything needs a fresh coat of paint. The daily expeditions, scenery and location of the hotel are great and why I'm giving the hotel 4 stars instead of 3. We did the Canyonlands tour, UTV tour and horseback riding. All of the staff running those activities were fantastic and are working hard. We didn't receive any services from the spa and can't speak to that. "
