Riads in Selwyn District

With an airport hotel there is an expectation that they will be functional but have no character this hotel is an exception. We were very pleasantly surprised to find how good this hotel was. The rooms were nice and spacious with some nice little touches. The restaurant and bar area were nice and lively, might have had something to do with it being St Patrick's day as they had a live singer/guitar player. An excellent stay at the Lincoln Motel. We were based there for nearly 3 weeks whilst visiting family nearby. We will certainly use this hotel again on future visits.

Great one bed apartment with plenty of room and excellent facilities. Staff were super helpful. Walk into the centre was around 25 mins. Supermarket nearby as well as a few restaurants & cafes.

Fantastic motel. From the minute I drove into their car park the manager came out and knew my name! Wow. Rooms are generously sized, sound proof, spotlessly clean, has all I needed for a one night stay. Highly recommended. I even recommended it to a friend who needs a room tonight as was that good. Handy to the Highway for heading North or South.

Hotel right at the airport - very convenient for early morning flights. Nice modern hotel. Just what you expect from a Novotel. Staff were really helpful.

We only booked this hotel for one night as the house we'd booked for our son's wedding was unavailable that night and we now wish that we'd stayed there for all of our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Observatory Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of character and history, and the location in the Arts Centre, right opposite the Botanic Gardens, is fantastic. We loved being able to walk everywhere and explore Christchurch from such a central yet peaceful location. Our room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and full of lovely little touches. The whole hotel has such a unique feel, it’s much more than just a hotel and feels like you’re staying...

This is a gem of a place. Friendly check in and great facilities. And a bargain price too. Well done!

A VERY helpful owner, nothing was too much trouble. It is a superb immaculately clean and comfortable motel with lovely unexpected touches and a superb shower. A car is not needed to stay here, (although there is good parking), it is within easy walking distance of the railway station, good bus connections ( including purple line bus direct to the airport ), supermarket and shopping mall. Highly recommended after a three night stay in February 2020.
