Fabulous friendly hotel great for children lovely pool spacious rooms with air con cleaned every day great breakfast with different choices daily we had a brilliant 2 weeks definitely go back again

I like there was security gate. The cook did outstanding on the food. The cleaner alway provides extra', they alway accommodate. The staff at desk was protest of they guest piracy. My room had a view of lots natural, on last a saw a monkey, lors birds, and butterfly.

My Metzy Residence Hotel Stay

A-metzy-ing! I felt safe and well taken care of at Metzy. The ambiance was great, the staff were friendly and responsive. The meals were decent and the housekeeping did a good job with amazing honesty. The power supply was mostly on and outages lasted only five seconds at most. The internet connectivitty was good. It would be even better if the management fixes the wall of the dining room and positions the breakfast chef outdoors. Keep up the good work Metzy.

The staff at the property were excellent. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We ended up staying there nearly 3 weeks and in that time it was comforting to know that staff was concerned for you if you were away from your routine. This was particularly reassuring as we were two senior women travelling without our husbands. We felt very safe. If there was an issue with anything the issue was addressed in a timely manner. It is clear that the facility is working to improve the quality of its property. Without a doubt I would recommend this property as a great place to stay.

Hotel from Hell

Location was good but the access road needs upgrading. The whole building needs refurbishing because of poor maintenance the building is dilapidated. Aisha was a fantastic receptionist always trying her best to solve difficult issues. Cleaning was extremely bad. Breakfast choice was limited. A big Shout out to Ibrahim in the restaurant.

First 2 days were bad, because a big group in the hotel. Very much noise day and night. Breakfast then was a mess. Room was not ok, no lock, no power etc. The girl of the reception did a good job and give the solution. After those days the breakfast was getting better by the day. The wIters and the cleaning was good.

The Metzy Experience

The Metzy Hotel has potential but requires: 1. Capital injection to upgrade facilities and improve the structure generally. 2. Trained and effective management team to support main areas of services 3. Cleaning staff- they are continuously under strain and ill equipped to carry out their work. The location of the hotel is ideal with access to other resorts, businesses and local communities. Isha at the reception desk was vey helpful and professional. She however needs support from management as she takes a lot of customer grief.

1st impressions the hotel looked nice. But there many renovations going on which should have been completed in the low season & not at the start of the high season.. Breakfast was describe as a buffet, but one always had to ask for milk, bread, rolls, juice & even glasses / cups.. Wi-Fi was a hit & miss. Router kept on disappearing during the day & would return if one queried where it had gone. Swimming Pool looked nice, but unfortunately to much chlorine as it affected the eyes & skin. No real service for those @ the pool for drinks & food - one had to go into the restaurant. Food was expensive. Staff were always friendly & helpful.

On a whole the staff was welcoming, polite and very professional. Couldn't come to the reasoning for only 1 bottle of water in the room on arrival. Service was slightly slow when requested anything for the room. A few things that needed to be put right, No shower gel in the dispensers, Do not disturb or room cleaning required did not work. Flushing of the toilet jammed but I worked it out before I left so that it the water never kept running all the time in the system. All in all a pretty comfortable stay.

The best days of this hotel are over, a lot of things broken in the room: power outlet hanging from the wall; nightstand falling apart; light in bathroom very scattered; shower is simply in the full dark, you do not see anything; toilet lid broken; hot water only occassionly with lots of luck; insects/bugs on the floor; dirty and old carpet; etc... Wifi was mostly great for me but only because router was positioned right in front of my room. However router is moved frequently so it happens quite often, that you do not have Wifi at all. You need to be lucky with router location.... Only big towels, nothing for drying your face or hands. During my last 2 days even only 1 towel available at all, which is not sufficient. Daily cleaning did a good job but once they entered the room without asking or knocking while I was still inside, this is a no go. Breakfast very basic as well, not much choice and more English-breakfast-style. Butter, cold milk, glasses, news plates only on request.... But the freshly made omlettes every morning are nice! Staff is friendly and tries its best. Great location, 3 minutes walk to the beach and (beach) bars and restaurants in direct neighborhood.
