"We didn’t like the live midges/gnats in our room or the dead ones in our bathroom sink in the morning. The mustiness of the overall space is a bit too much. And, FWIW, while the food in their restaurant was adequate — decent portions, yet lacking flavor — the overall service was terrible. Yes, we and others could see they were busy and understaffed (as several of their staff commented), but that’s really not an excuse for ignoring the line of people at the door, inattentiveness towards its diners, or forgetting parts of orders. We felt bad for the waitstaff and tipped well but there really is room for improvement at this charming lakeside place."
