"Loved the kitchenette option which had a few fishes to use. Bring your own seasonings. Deck with chairs was pleasant. Room was clean and easy to find."

"This was our 3rd stay at this property. Consistent each and every time. Rooms are clean, property is well maintained, towels at pool. Breakfast is always very good, station is kept clean and tidy and well stocked."

"Room was clean as far as we could tell. Front desk was helpful after they had completed their personal conversations both on the phone and in person with a friend (?). No hot tub. Elevator works quickly. Bathroom door would only latch if you lifted up on it as you pulled it shut and the toilet wobbled something fierce. Person stocking the breakfast was working hard but there were a lot of people there when we went so had to wait for eggs and such.Had one other issue with booking they were not...

"My room was mostly clean (water rings on some of the furniture that were sticky), but overall satisfactory. It was quiet and comfortable. I liked the layout including a sitting area with a desk. The architecture was beautiful (Frank Lloyd Wright). It’s a bit dated, but not awful. Close to Mason City’s downtown which is so quaint and totally walkable. Lots of history and beautiful architecture. I highly recommend if you want to hang out for a day or two."

"We got bed bug bites and left a day early. Spilled some water on the carpet and used a towel to dry it up. The towel was filthy - I don't think the carpet has been cleaned a for long time. Disappointed with this room, not recommending this place"

"The property was dirty. The room was disgusting. The towels need to be thrown in the trash. They smell like dirty floors. It was just a dirty Hotel man who the hell wants to stay in a place like that. I’ll never stay there again. Have a good day."
