"The AmericInn in Sibley, Iowa was the cleanest, most comfortable stay that we have had in Iowa yet. The room was cozy and well maintained and the best part was that it was quiet. No loud, annoying guests who can’t respect others rest time. We will definitely stay there again in the future. The manager/owner and her husband were very friendly and helpful."

"We have stayed here many times over the past few years and immediately recognized the remodeling which was lovely. The drawback was the noise which is a result of the extensive use of marble. It was a huge disappoiintment."

"This property was not as advertised. There was no breakfast provided and that was one of the reasons that we booked there. The space was there for breakfast but nothing. and when they asked at the front, she was not the kindest to them. The sheets were dirty. They slept on top of the sheets and comforters because of this and fear of bedbugs. They parked the truck near the window out of fear of a break in. I would not recommend this hotel. "The place was very dated, and had a very odd smell… like Windex and Chicken. I could deal with that, but starting at 10pm some homeboy decided to kick his bass up underneath my room window. That went almost all night. Not sure if it was an employee taking lots of smoke breaks or what, but I got little to no sleep. I also found hair all over the tub, so I didn’t use the shower. It made my drive the next day quite taxing."

"Only pup friendly hotel. Rooms were clean and roomy. Have nice swimming pool. Plenty of room walk your pup outside, but they do not provide poopy bags for your pet. Could improve on breakfast and the area. In the morning the dude that in front the desk started cleaning breakfast area with same brush for the floor and the tables. Also, they did not repl es empty coffee pot and hot water pot was barely warm."

"Staff was there to greet us after you call them to front. Heavy incense burning all the time. Made my throat hurt every morning. Sheets were covered in hair so asked for new sheets and just used the blankets we had in car. The bathroom door didn’t close so if your comfy with your spouse your good otherwise you get to share bathroom time.
