We’ve now stayed here twice. The first time wasn’t great due to renovations, the back door not locking, tons of bees outside, and a room that badly needed an upgrade. Still, we decided to give it another chance since we travel frequently and usually have positive experiences at hotels. Unfortunately, this stay was by far the worst we’ve ever had.
The shower was dirty, and the bathroom floor hadn’t been swept at all. While the front desk staff was great (especially during check-in and when she came to clean), the phones were down, which I understand if system updates were happening(like the manager mentioned). The fridge’s freezer door was broken—which was a big issue with a baby since we needed ice packs and cold formula at the same time. The shower had no body wash left, and when we accidentally dropped our baby’s pacifier during the night and moved the blue chair, we found old fries and garbage underneath. Absolutely disgusting.
On top of that, all four of us (two adults, two kids) woke up congested and stuffy, which makes me think the AC unit hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. I spoke with the manager not expecting full compensation but at least some acknowledgment beyond an apology. While he did apologize and mentioned they’d already had a staff meeting, nothing was offered for the awful experience.
Overall, this was incredibly disappointing. If something goes wrong, don’t expect compensation or even a gesture to make things right. 10/10 do not recommend.
