Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Place is awesome. Clean and nice. Food is good too. It’s right next to train station and there’s a family mart attached to the hotel. Laundry room kinda sucks but that’s a small slight on all the other great amenities. Can’t beat a free bathhouse."

Tokyu Stay Shibuya

10/10 Excellent

"By Tokyo standards, the room was huge! A nice surprise. Though we were facing another building, so it was disorienting to keep the black-out blinds pulled down. A layer of privacy curtains would have been helpful, so we could still get some natural light into the room in the morning. It was wonderful to have an in-unit washer/dryer, though start & end times had to be worked out a bit. Otherwise, it's a nice quiet spot that isn't too far away from the bustling of Shibuya. Lots of combini and food options surrounding the property, you'll never go hungry."

THE KNOT TOKYO Shinjuku

8/10 Good

"This hotel has a really cool lobby with a nice bakery and restaurant on the main floor. The room that we was small compared to North American hotels, 18 m², so it was pretty tight in the room to open suitcases etc. and there is nowhere to put clothes. The shower was nice and the beds were comfortable. The best part is probably the location as it is next to a park and there is a Starbucks if you are into their coffee right across the street in the park. It’s nice to get away from the packed streets of Shinjuku. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Shinjuku station, but there’s also a bus you can take that takes you right there that runs quite often so it is pretty convenient."

Dormy Inn Premium Shibuya Jingumae Hot Spring

10/10 Excellent

"I’ve been to Japan 6 times so far and have stayed in many hotels; this hotel has been my favourite. The location was great and close to many popular stores/restaurants. The pajamas provided were comfortable and I liked how we were encouraged to wear them throughout the hotel for breakfast. I’ve never been to a place with so many included amenities… free washing (dryers are 100 yen for 20 minutes though), free popsicles, a free drink bar, and the free evening ramen!? I also liked how I could rent an umbrella during a rainy day. If you have the option to get breakfast included, I recommend it 100%! The food was fantastic and there was a lot of options to choose from. I will be booking here again without hesitation in the future."
