Search Ryokan in Shimobe Onsen

Amazing place to escape and be in nature. Very peaceful and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend.

This is the oldest hotel in the world. It gas amazing hit springs, great traditional dinner and breakfast. Truly excellent Japanese experience

Very lovely place. Our room had a view of Mt Fuji (when it wasn't cloudy). It was 100% a traditional Japanese Inn, which we liked. They prepared breakfast and dinner, every day. There was a lot of traditional local Japanese food (which I mostly liked despite my western pallet). The staff were incredibly kind! Overall, an amazing experience!

This was an amazing place to stay. We were only here for a night, but it was the most relaxing stay ever. The private onsen was amazing and there were so many special touches like matching pajamas, a goodie bag and breakfast included. We left very early so the staff gave us our breakfast the night before in a packed lunch and it was so lovely. We also got a massage and it was incredible. Staff were so kind and lovely. Would definitely stay here again, thanks so much <3

An absolutely perfect retreat. Staff so welcoming and can’t do enough, such a beautiful place. Book the Sakura suit for a fantastic experience

Wish I could leave more than 5 stars! We had an amazing time and were really sad to leave. The staff were all so kind and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious and we loved the hot tub in our room. A truly incredible stay for families - we really hope to come back one day!

Excellent service by all staff. It’s serene, calming and very clean.

Staff were so lovely, the place was so tranquil and lovely. Would recommend the hotel. Area is pretty quiet not much to do so focus on the relaxation at the hotel.

Excellent room! Onsen very good. Amenities were impeccable

Wonderful hotel and the staff were very helpful. Our room was very spacious and clean. The private bath is recommended if you have tattoos.
