"Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel in Japan. Location is fairly remote, but extremely peaceful, and there are free shuttle busses into Toyooka. Onsen was pretty good and clean. If you are looking for a relaxed time away from the typical tourist bustle, I can highly recommend this hotel. Most guests were elderly and extremely friendly, and it was completely silent at night."

"This intimate, family-owned inn has only two rooms, allowing you to truly get to know the wonderful family behind it. Breakfast was lovingly prepared by the lovely older lady who owns the inn—it was delicious, comforting, and felt like a home-cooked meal.
