"The room was clean , but the mattress was a little uncomfortable. But I enjoyed my stay"

"Room prices are over priced for what you get with some overlooking the main road so expect a disturbed nights sleep. The bed is comfortable though. Oh and the TV didn’t have a signal despite the pubs proximity to the top of a hill. Even though a breakfast is included with your stay, having service start at 09:30 is very late and may not suit most people’s needs. Food in the restaurant is about average, the reference to Michelin may mislead you and there’s only 2 options for veggies. Even on...

"The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos."

"An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you"

I understand it’s a pub so there will be noise to a degree, but there was loud talking and music until gone midnight and it was very frustrating. I had ear plugs in but could still hear it...

"First of all, the room was very clean and had all of the amenities one should have and expect. In the morning I could get a speciality coffee from the bar and sit in an alcove and enjoy the view of the square. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. A quaint boutique hotel. I would definitely book the hotel again."

"The Dial House is located right in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, an easy walk to everything. Our room was in the old building and was comfortable. The bath had an attractive large tub, but only a hand-held for a shower. There was plenty of hot water. Parking was plentiful and easy to access. Guests are asked to only enter through the back door of the building to not disturb dining customers. That was a little strange and inconvenient, but not a major concern. We had three concerns. ...
