Shire of Kolan hotel guide. Independent hotel in Shire of Kolan, Queensland

This is possibly the best motel/travel hotel I have ever stayed in. Clean, well equipped and a free continental breakfast for half the price of nearby accommodation. Do not be put off by the connotations Europeans may have with a "motel", this was on a par with solid 3* regular hotels with the added benefit of parking outside the room.

Good

Clean, comfortable and good location. Very attentive staff

Spotless very large room. Microwave, kettle, fridge. Staff were lovely. The pool and area was very clean.

A pleasant place to stay on our journey north. Riverside location.

Golden Palms is a great place to stay, the staff are friendly and efficient, the room was fresh and spotlessly clean.

Staff extremely helpful. Very respectful, warm and friendly with a professional manner. Provided clear information on transport and cafes etc in the local area. Followed up booking promptly. A fine service.

Lovely nice people food good WiFi good small pool clean bathrooms room clean washer / drier

Been staying at this place for decades enroute to Brisbane (in it's former incarnation as The Panda Motel). It's facelift is really simple but effective and comfortable. Very friendly owner (with super affectionate cat!)

Clean, comfortable room - all amenities catered for. Easy check in although we arrived late evening. Great communication. Thanks.

Staff could not have been more helpful
