"We get an annual car service in Maroochydore, coming down the night before to be first off the blocks as we have a 2.5 hour drive back afterwards. We have stayed at Nightcap at Northern Grounds previously and again on Monday evening. We found the renovated rooms very comfortable, clean, well stocked with tea and coffee making provisions. "The bed was very comfortable. Crockery and cutlery supplied and mugs were a good size. Access a bit awkward. TV reception was terrible, regular channels not watchable. Not sure about the WiFi as didn't try to access it."

"A quaint, hidden gem of a property which was well located away from the hustle and bustle. Lisa, who manages the place, was lovely and friendly. The spa bath was a real treat and it was refreshing to stay in pet friendly accomodation that didn’t charge extra for your pet (big plus!). The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the cabin had a lovely homely feel. Only small negatives were that the towels were really thin, there was just a sheet and thin blanket (no duvet) so it got a bit cold...
