Hotel murah di Shirley

"I arrived and was told my room had been sold, even though there were NO cars in the parking lot. The smell in the office was atrocious and the attendant was struggling to communicate with me, little English apparently. He seemed to be trying to sell me a different room but the looks and atmosphere of the place and his demeanor were so awful I told him I was not interested in a different room. He told me to go on the website and cancel, and when I did, he had marked me as a no show."

"It was surrounded by 2 other motels close to nothing else. The parking lot was empty like all other parking lot. It was not in a big city. Then when we left this morning, there was a 5 dollar parking fee in Anderson IN???? That is the most obscure thing I have ever dealt with. I have stayed a lot of places Obviously I missed the fine print. I will definitely let others know."

"There are several rat traps lining the hotel property. The pool was slimy and dirty. There was a long black hair on the toilet lid when we arrived. The hotel smells like cigarettes in many places and there are fragrance dispensers located in the elevator to mask the dirty, cigarette smell. The breakfast and coffee were subpar quality and we chose to eat elsewhere. The emergency plan was not posted in the room and you can see where it was torn down. "For the price of $142 a night this place was found lacking. The pool was not open due to renovations, the room smelled so bad we slept with the window open, bedspread was stained, no plastic liner in the shower so it flooded the bathroom floor and entry. Would not recommend staying here, I have no idea how it got its rating as 4.8."

"Not bad for a quick stay. Beds are not the most comfortable, but a sacrifice for the affordable price, I suppose"
