Oki Room and Historic Vibe
This is a super cool hotel with a strong historical vibe. The Oki room had a private courtyard and spacious quarters. There are stairs from the entrance and bathroom to the sleeping area, which I mention in case any reader has difficulty with stairs. The staff was very helpful.

I ’ve booked twice om different days. Toilet noise flushing whole night. Onsen is great but foreign visitor’s don’t wash and just directly go to the pool.

Nice onsen hotel but expensive.
Beautiful onsen hotel. The only problem was their name says they are in Oijo but the are actually 50 kilometers away and the taxi ride wa 10,000 yen. You need to take a local train to Hiji and a taxi from there for 2000 yen.
