Horrible hotel

We did not stay at the Quality Inn last night because of bugs in the room. We found a dead bed bug and 2 live cockroaches in the restroom. The rooms are old and and dirty.

Although I liked how close it was to Eldora which is why we came… the facility needs some major upgrades. Caulking in the bath tub, wall paper peeling off, left over ice cream in the fridge. Oh and I wanted a non smoking room that I reserved months ago but they didn’t have any available which is bull. The employees need to look at their bookings before giving out rooms that were already booked. So we had to stay in a smoking room. Definitely will not be staying here again.

Terrible hotel

When we arrived our room had gnats flying around in it and it smelled bad. The pool was green so we couldn't get in it and the ice machine was broken. Staff were not friendly and were irrited when we asked for clean towels.

Mine was the 6th room reviewed. 2 not cleaned, 1 adjoining door not able to be locked, 1 electric didn't work, 1 smelled of mold/mildew. 6th I took found the TV didn't work toilet ring old/disgusting, no stopper in the tub, wallpaper pealing. They gave a discount on a future visit would do nothing for this visit.

The overnight front desk lady was nice. Our room door handle only opened when you lift up, ac never worked as it was 20⁰ cooler outside than in the room, humidity was through the roof in the room. Desk lamp switch broken. Entire place reeked of cigarette smoke and even in a non-smoking room, smoke was getting in. Fire alarms went off at 4:30 in the morning. We brought this to the attention to the front desk but she said there weren't any other rooms available. We packed up and slept the remainder of the night in our truck. I will require a refund.

The room was very dirty. We had booked only because of the hot tub jet . There was no hot water for the tub. The room was extremely dirty. Found debrais by the bed. And even found a pain reliever pill on tbe floor by the ottoman! I will not be booking again And because i booked with epedia no discounts were offered or available. Highly disappointed and feel ripped off. We traveled 15 hours for a family funeral and very upsetting day is an understatement

My one-night stay was worth the price paid. I was on a budget. The place was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly. Location is quite convenient to the interstate. Furniture, building and finishes were worn out and poorly maintained (i.e., vinyl wall covering in the bathroom). Under similar circumstances, I would stay there again. The price was right.

Horrible experience

Booked the stay in February. When we arrived in August for our trip we were told they did have any reservations for me. I provided them all paperwork including confirmation number and was still told no reservation was shown and they could not help us.

Toilet had pee and pubic hair on it. Bath floor had hair on it. Shower wouldn’t get hot. Main room floor had trash. Bed didn’t smell clean. Dusty counters. For $150 for a night it was an absolute joke. I’ve spent $75 at a Days Inn and never felt even remotely that grossed out. Talked to staff and they said they’d work on a refund, but I highly doubt they will. Because an unclean room is a sign of laziness.

Race fans beware! This was the worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure to have ever stayed! We paid for a king room. When we arrived, we were told that they didn't have a king only a double. Our room, it was nasty! It was dirty, the TV didn’t work, the toilet wouldn't flush and the hotel smelled like a dirty, old ash tray! We requested a different room and was told that they only had a smoking room available. I refused to stay in a smoking room. The clerk called the manager and told her that we weren't happy and we wanted them to find us another place to stay, they "found" a non-smoking king room, however it was a jacuzzi room and cost more, but they would let us have the room for the price we paid. That room, was clean. However, when we tried to shower, there was no hot water! Then, as we were on our way to the races, the clerk had the gall to call and tell us that they wanted to refund our money and kick us out of our room!! I told her that she couldn't do that, we were not at the hotel and we were not going to be thrown out because of their inability to run a decent business. I have NEVER been so poorly treated at a business in my life! They will never get our business again, and I can't believe that "Quality Inn" would allow them to continue to use their franchise! Despicable and disgusting!

We got the king size bed with the jacuzzi tub. Jets in the tub didnt work. We were not told the pool was closed. Went to use it and the water was green. Had blood stains on the comforter. I talked to the lady who was working Saturday and she was on the phone with another customer. I waited and she told them to hang on a second. Asked me what i needed so i let her know the jets in the tub didnt work. All while this other guest was on the phone. Not impressed at all. And hoping once my payment clears it really clears for a discounted rate as i was told it would be.
