Pensions in Sigulda Municipality

The surroundings are heavenly. We spent a night only and could not experience the spa , the food presentation and taste were super. I could spend days just to soak in the beautiful surroundings.

We had a lovely stay in this family hotel. The location is nice, in a remote place in the national park so you definitely need a car to reach it although we were told in the summer you can reach Cesis in two hours. The ladies running the hotel were really friendly and even let us use the sauna at 10.30 pm because we spent the evening in Cesis. Overall, I really recommend the hotel and wouldn't definitely return there if ever in Latvia again.

Great stay for a night, we had everything we needed and also parking for the car. Good amenities around the hotel and a quiet neighbourhood. The room was good and comfortable and clean.

Great hotel, out of the city but close enough by taxi. Staff excellent. Restaurant was fantastic!

Excellent hotel near the old town & everything within walking distance. Was here over new year. Disappointed that the bar was closed by 12.30 on New Year’s Eve. Breakfast was excellent but the plates were cold everything you would want for breakfast was there. Spa was excellent first day was so busy so we decided to go after breakfast about 9 am & in the evening about 8 was quiet. & more manageable a lot of kids in during the day. Will definitely go back here.

Really high-spec hotel and room. All beautifully decorated and presented, including public areas. Young staff on reception were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Our twin apartment was small but top notch and very well equipped. It was handy to be able to get extra items such as pillows, toaster and iron from reception. On first impressions the area this side of the station where the hotel is located was not very nice. However, it was in fact safe and interesting, especially the markets....

The Grand Hotel is superbly located. As I entered the lobby, I was warmly greeted and advised of the location of breakfast and also the times On arrival at my room I was immediately impressed by the amount of space I had and how richly furnished and decorated it was. The king sized bed was very comfortable and high standard furnishings were provided, along with effective air conditioning. Excellent hotel- they just get everything right, even dealing with problems. At one point we were miscommunicated breakfast time but the staff were so fantastic at dealing with the problem by ensuring that we were looked after that it not only wasn’t a problem - it was turned into a big positive. They take customer service very seriously. Excellent experience all round - other hotels could learn a lot. Great food. Lovely location. And very quiet l. All round well done !

Loved everything about this hostel. The location is super convenient, an easy walk to the city centre and the staff were friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. The cherry on top was the free fruit! I would definitely come back again

Beautiful hotel with good facilities, soft furnishings make this a high end hotel in new state of repair. In an excellent location for exploring old town. The hotel staff were really helpful, friendly and fun. Breakfast was included and is cooked to order, not just buffet which was also included if preferred. I really couldn't fault the hotel or staff.
