"The hotel/facility was as described, nothing special but fine, check-in was easy and simple, however I made a mistake when booking (e.g., selecting 1 adult per room rather than 2) which resulted in additional charges during check out.
However, the additional charges removed the booking fees from Hotels.com which resulted in a higher open amount. I reached out to Alpine Lodge which they promptly responded but then stopped communicating and did not fix the error after 3 weeks. This resulted in...
"Der Schwimmteich ist nach einem Wandertag wirklich das beste! Baden mitten in der Natur. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls klasse. Die Organisation vom Frühstück war anders und es wird vermutlich mehr als nötig weggeworfen da jeder Tisch eine einzelne Wurstplatte erhält. Qualität super aber die Nachhaltigkeit sollte überdacht werden.
Würde jederzeit wieder in dem Hotel einchecken!"
"Vi ankom sent om aftenen efter receptionens åbningstid. Det var ikke noget problem, da vi bare ringede på klokken og fik hjælp med det samme til at komme ind på værelset.
Morgenmaden var ganske fin. Super god service og en følelse af at være en meget velkommen gæst og ikke blot et objekt, der skal tjenes penge på.

"We are in quite some Hotel. Already 6 different ones the last three weeks but this one was really one of the best we have ever been.
The rooms with a lot of massive real wood furniture, and nice things were great. The well made wellness area and especially the breakfast buffet with everyone you need. We loved the "Rührei &Speck". The parking lot under the hotel is also super Handy and the staff is one of the nicest and friendliest we ever had. Absolutely 5 stars. We come again =)"
"Centralt beläget hotell, skidbuss gick utanför och tog ca. 10 min. Frukosten var fantastisk, mycket varierad och nyttig och vilken utsikt från panoramafönstret mot bergen! Personalen var mycket trevlig. Städningen kunde varit bättre, det damsugades inte på rummet under veckan."
