"Our family of three enjoyed a one-night stay during a transfer from Mazzaro Bay to Paris. The rooms were fairly spartan but comfortable for one night. WiFi access was a little buggy and the space was not air conditioned before our arrival. Be prepared to carry your luggage up three floors of stairs. Staff did an OK job explaining the facilities but there were several keys to memorize for certain doors. Overall, an acceptable experience."

"From our arrival to our departure the staff and management were excellent. The reception staff dealt with our room enquiries superbly with a friendly and professional attitude. The bar staff were excellent. The room was fantastic with beautiful colours and furniture. The bed was very very good. All technical requirements were there and the "extras" in the room were great, complimentary water and snacks. A complimentary bottle of fizz was the icing on tbe cake. Breakfast was in the outside patio and the offering coveted all our needs. The situation in Catania is great for the city walking tours. We will definetly return and recommend to friends and family."

"Overall a good hotel, location and amenities. It’s not the most modern, but the pool/bar area are 1st class and the staff very friendly and attentive. Good location for Catania, 10min Uber into downtown/ Metro station. Great views of Etna, ask for pool/sea view room (even no’s). Quality breakfast. The rooms are large, but dated and the hotel fascia could do with a fresh lick of paint. Plenty of local bars/restaurants near by and amazing food/wine for bargain prices. Demonstrates how much we get ripped off in the UK. Eg Table x 6 with starters/mains/deserts/beer & wine, nothing more than €200, and they don’t expect tips. Would stay again."

"The pictures online do not give Mangia Brucoli justice. It is more beautiful in person. Our room had Mt. Etna views that were breathtaking. We had breakfast included and wow it’s amazing. We visited the adult , kids pool and the beach. All were great. Ate in town (Brucoli) and had delicious meals. Strong recommendation!!!"
