I feel like some of the positive reviews are from when it was newer. This place is on the dirty side, and some stuff doesn't work anymore like some buttons in my pod, such as lock/unlock. Handles have fallen off some upper pods and are questionably glued back on. Shower is kind of dirty, insect colony. Ceilings have water leaks that pool up on the floor. No place to hang towels.
It was really loud outside until very late, could barely sleep. Someone was literally banging a drum right outside for a while at close to midnight.
I gave 3 stars and not 2 just because this is low priced for anything in Singapore, so it will do if you are in a pinch. Just know what it is. I left after 1 night after paying for 2.
Usually in hostels/pods I expect guests who just need a place to sleep for cheap, backpackers, students, etc. The bunks around me appeared to be 3rd world low wage migrant workers with no teeth.
