"We had a wonderful stay at Quinte Verde Sintra. Hotel (or Bed and Breakfast?) grounds are wonderful and you can see the Moorish Castle from the pool - breathtaking views! You do need a car though or Uber (or both if you are not comfortable driving around the Sintra palaces in narrow and busy streets). Owner was very welcoming and informative on how to enjoy our stay and park our cars, breakfast (optional) was a great way to start the day. Thank you very much, we will be back!"

"After coming from a rather rustic & shabby VRBO in the Algarve, Chalet O Amorzinho was an absolute breath of fresh air. The staff was so kind and accommodating (especially Maria who served our delicious breakfast every morning). The seaside setting is absolutely gorgeous with easy access—only a few minutes walk—to beaches and great dining options. The room was fresh, clean, and comfortable every day. Cabo da Roca, Sintra, and Cascais are easily to get to by car (20ish minute drive). Can't wait...

"This hotel is a little oasis from the hustle of town. We had a beautiful view of the mountain and the three main palaces. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered by basket to our room at our chosen time. Parking was included which was a selling point as parking in Sintra is very limited. Town is only a 5-10 minute walk away, but it is up an extremely steep hill. Not easy for anyone out of shape or with mobility issues. Walls between rooms are a little thin, but a fairly quiet stay! "Stayed here the night before a wedding at Penha Longa — the place was super clean, spacious, and even nicer than we expected. The bathroom was great, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the pool had amazing views. Not walkable, so you’ll need a car or Uber, but it’s peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again."
