"Beautiful apartment situated about 0.5km from the lake. Close to everything we needed - a lovely bakery almost next door and lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We are a family of 4 with two teen girls and although the apartment slept 6, one thing to note is there is only one bedroom and the king and double bed are both in there. "The owner was lovely, as were rest of the staff. We had a warm welcome and a tour of our room prior to check-in. The Superior room was incredible. Really nicely furnished, clean, plenty of complimentary amenities. We had an amazing meal in the evening - one of the nicest we've had in Slovenia, followed by an equally enjoyable breakfast. "This guest house is absolutely unique - it has an atmosphere of a hut in the woods, and it is actually in the woods. on the way, you pass by an ancient castle, which we loved to explore. At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! "Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer."
