The Hotel Tindastoll is a lovely change from the standard characterless rooms found in the 'chain' hotels. We stayed in room 3, at the front of the hotel with views towards the fjord. This is an old building with no lift and steep stairs, creaky wooden floors and gloomy en suite bathrooms but we loved it! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and we had dinner at Olafshus, just round the corner - soup and salad bar included with main courses and a great range of pizzas and burgers as well. Our...
