"Located right next door to noisy bar. VERY loud music until 3-4am on a couple of nights. Ear plugs did not help. Sun on balcony from 6am to 12 mid day so you need to be up early to enjoy this. No option for any shade though so gets very hot to have breakfast there. An umbrella would be helpful. Kettle and coffee machine (this didn't actually work) is outside the room shared with everyone else. We didn't have house keeping or just very poor cleaning most days. Didn't get clean towels even though...

"We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. "Cortesia, ospitalità e praticità sono le parole d'ordine! La Pensione Margarita è un ottimo punto d' appoggio per una una o due notti. La struttura è pulita ed il personale disponibile e molto ospitale. Ottimo il servizio navetta dall' aeroporto. Peccato per alcuni dettagli (vedi la tenda del bagno che sarebbe da cambiare) e l' insonorizzazione della camera. Sono arrivati ospiti intorno alle 23.30 e sembrava di averli in stanza con noi."

"We loved our stay here the front desk staff was helpful especially with navigating the bus routes! Our room was beautiful. There was easy access to a very nice beach. There were a couple restaurant options within walking distance on the beach. It’s about at 20 minute walk to old town Skiathos or a quick bus route from stop 5 to stop 0. Breakfast was okay for a breakfast buffet."
