The welcome here couldn't have been more warm, it is a lovely little boutique hotel on the register of historic hotels in Norway. It's a bit of a walk uphill from the train station, but well signposted and you get a taste of the sights of Roros on the way. There are two cosy lounges that just feel like you are at home in your own livingroom, with a fireplace in one and free tea/coffee and cookies.
