My room was comfortable, with everything clean and ready when I checked in. There were a few small issues that made the stay a "four stars" rating instead of a "five stars". The traffic noise in my room through the night felt like I was near the Indy 500 (the speed limit of 35 was obviously NOT enforced), and I could hear the people in the room beside mine talking, late into the night and in the early morning. I could also hear their dog. The towels in my bathroom did not appear to have been dried thoroughly, they were damp (as was the bath mat). Other than those issues, the room was good.

this "hotel' should have full disclosure that it is not a traditional hotel. It operates more like a AirBnB. No front desk, and communication was almost non-existent. We ended up going to another hotel for our stay.

The shower was the best I had of any hotel. It was a cleaned stall and poured out a perfect amount of water. The Inn was nice, old fashion style house, have grass and plenty of parking(at 9pm after the shared restaurant closed). It is in old main street surrounded by historical buildings if you are big into that and take the time to walk around. I did not get to try the breakfast so I can't comment. I would stay again if I'm in the area.

Good stopover between Santa Fe and Tucson scenic route. Nice room. Space to sit outside. Explore the community room as it has drinks, popcorn, baked goods etc and you can have breakfast any time. We only saw a member of staff very briefly. Two places to eat few yards away.

A snowflake getaway.

I went with my dog and i loved it however I could not close the bathroom door, but that’s OK. I went solo. The weather was great. My dog had a blast at the park however I expected a bigger breakfast sausage, bacon, eggs, yogurt, the fixings for a bed and breakfast. but overall, it was a nice relaxing stay and fun three day weekend.

The lovely Heritage Inn is conveniently located on an attractive, quiet, and well-maintained corner in the heart of Snowflake. Pre-arrival communications are great. The bedroom/bathroom accommodations are spacious. And the 24-hour availability of coffee/tea/waters and snacks or continental breakfast items in a restful Lounge are generous.

Best stay so far!

Attention to detail! It is the little thing that made such an impression. Like separate water for tea! Most places use the same vessel that was used for coffee which make the tea taste awful! The tea selection was great. The hard boiled eggs were easy to peel. I have been other places and the hard boiled eggs took so long to peel cause the shell stuck to the egg. Just the way it is boiled so I thank them…. The shower was great. I also love the selection of dvds! Was so fun to wat h movie and eat popcorn… the courtyard was so pleasant. We sat out there for dinner and breakfast even in the extreme heat. The tree provides great shade.

Overall, a very nice little hotel. There is no lobby/front desk – just 12 rooms and a guest lounge. This is a very old converted home. Like all historic buildings, it’s a little squeaky and doors/windows don’t fit perfectly. Rooms 8, 9, 10, 11 (the Carriage House) are quite small – other rooms seem to be larger. No closet, drawers, or shelves for clothes in Carriage House rooms – just a couple of hooks. Only one chair in Carriage House rooms. Dogs allowed in some rooms. Beds are very high – hard for my handicapped wife. The bed was somewhat worn but not uncomfortable. Although the family in the room above us moved around a lot, the noise level was low. Housekeeping is one person who is only on-site part of the day. Very nice but minimally available. Since the staff is small, it’s very hard to get early check-in. The guest lounge is open all day and has snacks, drinks, some tables (I used for work) and a large selection of videos. The grounds are much nicer than a typical hotel - lots of trees and roses. A nice relaxing atmosphere. It’s located on the main street but it’s quiet at night. The restaurants(except fast food) in Snowflake and many in ShowLow, are closed on Sunday. ShowLow is wooded with pine trees but Snowflake is high desert grassland. If you want tours of the historic homes in Snowflake (there are many) contact the chamber of commerce for schedules.

Charming Stay at the Heritage Inn – Twice in One W

We initially chose the Heritage Inn in Snowflake, AZ based on a Hotels.com search. It looked charming and was reasonably priced—and it more than lived up to our expectations. This is a delightful little inn where each room is uniquely decorated with its own color or theme. There is no on-site staff, but check-in is easy with a code provided, similar to many vacation rentals. Our rooms were tastefully decorated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The guest lounge is modest but well-stocked with snack foods, which also serve as the continental breakfast. It’s not fancy, but everything is high quality and thoughtfully presented. One great amenity is the Tesla destination charger. Just be sure to arrange in advance to have it turned on. During our first stay, I didn’t ask ahead and couldn’t find it, but the next morning the staff quickly responded and turned it on. On our return trip a week later, we booked again last minute. Even though the staff had gone home for the day, they still found someone to come back and activate the charger for us—outstanding customer service! We’ve now stayed in both the Red Roost and the Blue Denim rooms. Both are adorable, but we slightly preferred Blue Denim—it’s downstairs, a bit roomier, and has a comfortable easy chair. The price difference is minimal and worth it, though we wouldn’t hesitate to stay in any of the rooms. Conveniently located, the inn is right next door to Street

This is a very tidy well managed property. The amenities are almost automatic with the breakfast area well stocked at all times.
