"This is a "capsule hotel" meaning you get a text message or email with a door code the morning of your stay and then you can get into your room. This is fine but you need to have some kind of connectivity to read those messages. I found the place quiet and pleasant; somewhere in-between a hotel and a hostel, with people in the morning willing to talk and hang out. However, the only way to contact the staff is by cellphone; there is no staff on-site. So when there are screaming toddlers running up and down the halls or there is a problem with something there is no way to contact people because they aren't there. The price is excellent, though, it is a fifteen-minute walk from the train station (and a walk through a lovely small town that is worth the visit for itself) and the rooms are comfortable. Bikerod itself is worth a visit. I would definitely stay here again. The bar next door is an old Danish "brown pub" which is populated with serious drinkers... old guys who show up at 9am for their first beer and leave late in the evening. There are a bunch of reviews on the internet from people saying they were treated poorly there, but I liked the place myself. Just go in and be respectful and don't act like a goddamn tourists, just be quiet and drink a beer. The beer is good, but there is no food."

"I only stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling alone, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The room had a double bed, yet only one pillow was provided. The blanket was also very small and did not properly fit the size of the bed. In addition, there was no fridge in the room and not even basic amenities like a small toothpaste were provided. Considering the price of the hotel, I expected much better service and comfort. Overall, I found the hotel overpriced for what it offered and would not recommend it."

"We had an absolutely exceptional experience at Park Lane hotel in Copenhagen. Everything was perfect from start to finish: the welcome, the ambiance, the location, the impeccable hospitality, the incredible quality of the services and the yummy breakfast food. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had! We travel often and get to experience great accommodations and service, but this was one of the best we’ve. All the staff we deal with are friendly, warm, informative and helpful. A special mention goes to Phillip who was absolutely fantastic: smiling, attentive, professional, and passionate about his work. He greatly contributed to making our stay in Copenhagen even more pleasant and memorable with his attentiveness and excellent recommendations. A big thanks goes to Mathilde for her handwritten note for David’s birthday."

"Be cautious—advertised "Free Parking" comes with significant risks We chose this hotel partly because they advertise "free parking" as an amenity. However, our stay was marred by an expensive surprise: we were issued a 695 DKK parking fine despite being registered guests. The reality of the situation is that the hotel’s parking is managed by a third-party company (EuroPark). When we contacted the hotel manager to resolve the fine, we were told the hotel has no agreement with EuroPark and is essentially powerless to assist guests if an issue arises. It is deeply frustrating that the hotel promotes "free parking" to attract guests, yet offers no support or advocacy when their third-party parking provider issues an unfair fine. If you decide to stay here and choose to drive, please be aware that the hotel’s "free parking" promise does not come with the security or management you would expect. We strongly recommend clarifying the parking registration process directly with management before you arrive, or choosing alternative parking to avoid being caught in this situation."
