"Clean and comfortable."

"I thought I had booked a room with 2 queen beds but when we checked in only the handicap room was available with two double beds. It wasn't a problem but I felt bad taking up them handicap room in case someone who really needed it showed up and needed a room. The check in lady said it was the only room available. It was really nice that the hotel is connected to the restaurant so you don't have to go outside. The computer was not working when we checked in and there was 4 people there waiting...

"The person who greeted us was quite rude; we decided to discuss our questions with someone else, who was very kind. To be honest, the $100 deposit they require is a lot of money."

"Breakfast was very good for hotel food. Very well located and loved the free shuttle service to hospital. Property was a little dated and worn as was the room but very clean. Have stayed here many times over the years and will continue to. Will continue to recommend to others "

"No tv guide menu which is odd. Also the workout room is the smallest I’ve seen. Otherwise the rooms are clean and hotel is nice. "

"Great stay! Just across the street from Trader Joe’s and right off the interstate. Great location for visiting in Iowa City. Rooms were super quiet, clean and relaxing. AND they have FREE drinks, dinner and breakfast! Love it! "

"Staff was very friendly, however the room itself was not clean AT all. I am not a picky person when it comes to rooms, I don’t mind if it’s outdated as long as it’s clean. The sheets did not have that bleach clean smell to them, the room smelled musty, there was handprints on on windows, the shower had dirt in it and literally on the walls by the bed were boogers! We discovered all this after getting settled for the night, we were only there one night with my kiddo mom and husband so didn’t want...
