"This place is well-maintained for how old it is, and it was fun to stay in such a historic building. Surface cleaning is spotless, but a deeper clean is not really great (e.g., ceiling fans). Our room did not have a TV so we had to watch in the living room. We had to share a bathroom. Kind of frustrating for a room with kids, but it was on the booking. Just didn’t catch it somehow. The pillows could use a regular update. The breakfast was better than a traditional continental breakfast, but not...

"We stayed 6/12-6/15 for my husband’s birthday and it was truly an amazing stay. Our unit was pristine. The property is well maintained and our lake view was beautiful. We’re definitely going back to stay before the summer ends. We recommend staying at the Boardwalk @ Lake Anna if you’re thinking about visiting!"

"The Comfort Inn and Suites at Charlottesville VA is a beautiful place to lodge. I would have given it a 5 star but the remains of pets’ number two is nice to see anytime. I believe a notice for the customers to curb or cleanup after their pets is needed. Plus cameras. Very pleasant stay. The staff is excellent. The breakfast is excellent. I will definitely be a return customer and recommend it to my friends and foes."

"I like that it was convenient to our event but it took awhile to check in, only one person behind the desk. The hot tube look like it needed to be clean so we did not go in."

"We checked in and tried showering only to have water as cold as ice, door lock didn’t work. Called front desk his response was change rooms. We were already unpacked and he didn't seem to care, he said no one was there to fix anything. Moved rooms to take a shower in room number 2 and the bathroom bath mat was dirty, we used a towel cus the bath mat was that dirty, the shower wall had black curly hair stuck to it. Called front desk three times, no answer. Went to front desk no one there. ...

"There was a storm in the area when we arrived which had caused some issues during check-in. We had booked the room for 5 days, however, I had to move to another room because of the computer glitch. However, the day manager did contact me about the problem since our room had apparently been double booked. He helped me out with the price and also looked in depth for my wife's heated coffee cup that she had left in the lobby. He dug through the trash to find it but to no avail. He was way beyond...
