"We liked this place so much that we booked it again on our second swing by Bologna. This is the PERFECT base if you are doing the cheese and acetto tours, plus it is a gorgeous classical Italian country villa. The parking is a bit confusing, and the is hardly any signs that point you to the check-in office, but it is a minor issue UNLESS you arrive after 8pm. "Hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Parkplatz im Hof, vorherige Kontaktaufnahme per WhatsApp, damit sichergestellt werden konnte, dass ein Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption ist. Zimmer geräumig. Im Hof eine kleine Sitzecke, um die Sonne zu genießen. Wir haben das Frühstück nicht genutzt, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Bei Abreise haben wir einen Kaffee erhalten, sehr nett - danke!"

"Das Hotel ist in einem gutem Zustand, die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher. Kaffee und Tee stand zur Verfügung. Einen Flaschenöffner gab es nicht auf dem Zimmer und auf Nachfrage sowohl an der Rezeption als auch in der Bar, war es nicht möglich einen Flaschenöffner zu bekommen (was ich als sehr enttäuschend empfand). Der Spa Bereich ist Aufpreispflichtig, was nirgends in der Beschreibung stand. Was ich ebenfalls als enttäuschend empfand....

"Immaculately designed and uniquely presented, feels like a brand new property surrounded by vineyards yet walking distance to town centre. Wonderful pool, spacious rooms with lounge area, not any old fridge but a Smeg, luxurious furnishings - feels special. Breakfast a little short on choice but still acceptable. Thoroughly recommend"

"Room was spacious clean and , the staff where amazing & the choice for breakfast was vast, traveled at wrong time of year to appreciate the outside but may have to revisit in summer to sit outside with a cold beer."

"This lovely little area of Castelvetro was a pleasure to stay in! The Locanda rooms were spacious and had nice amenities for coffee and tea. The living area was a nice addition to our space with lively decor. The toilet area is small but well appointed. If you want a romantic dinner reserve a table in the wine cellar. "I stayed here on a whim. I’m a 43 year old Canadian (female & mother) travelling completely unplanned day-to-day and prefer “off the beaten path” this place was actually amazing! Such a welcomed posh, beautiful, sophisticated spot! Staff were so lovely! I can not recommend a stay here enough! Every detail was amazing! Worth every cent! (Food and wine was exquisite too!)"

"This hotel is like a mirage. The most spectacular junior suite room that was the exact reboot needed after spending many nights in subpar hotel and VRBO beds across Italy. Breakfast the following morning was included as was the coolest car port for our rental. We felt safe, cared for and left with huge smiles on our face. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The perfect place to stay for checking out the Lamborghini and Ferrari museums! Brava!!"
