First of all — this is not a hotel, not even a full apartment. It’s a single apartment they chopped into 5 small rooms. It feels like an Airbnb, and honestly I don’t think Expedia should be promoting these types of “properties” — it’s confusing and disappointing.
The air conditioner barely cooled the room. The towels were basically sandpaper — thin, rough, almost breaking apart, and they smelled strongly like vinegar. The bedside lamp was covered in dust and one of the ceiling lights was literally hanging down.
It’s located on a pedestrian street, so you can’t drive up to the building. You have to walk about 4 blocks with your luggage.
In the hallway, there was a visible crack in the ceiling that got bigger every day, and nobody made any attempt to fix it. I imagine they’re just waiting for it to finally break, fall, and flood the entire floor.
The only positive thing is the location. Other than that — nothing else was good.
The pillows were extremely thin, and when we moved the beds to look for something, the floor underneath was dirty. So the cleaning was definitely very poor.
