Amazing room with wonderful hosts

Spend three days at Villa Carolina and had a great time with some lovely hosts who could not do enough. The property is set on the hill above sorrento and there is a free courtesy bus. But if you don’t use the bus you need to enjoy lots of steps which is often the case in sorrento anyway. Would recommend

I had such an amazing time at Villa Carolina! Emanuela and Carlo truly went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. First they upgraded me because we're worried that the room I chose might be too cold (in March). Emanuela made sure to check in on me throughout the day because she knew I was traveling alone. They picked me up and dropped me off to places whenever I didn't feel like making the pleasant walk up and down the hill into town. The property itself is simply breathtaking! I haven't felt this relaxed in the longest time. I can't wait to come back and I'm recommending this place to all of my family and friends.

Charming and beautiful hotel in a scenic location. The logistic challenges of getting into Sorrento are addressed well by the hotel owner who went out of her way to ensure accessible transportation. This was a peaceful place to stay outside of the tourist zone of Sorrento and gave us a taste of rural life in Italy.

Beautiful stay

Fantastic place to stay. Great service, atmosphere and food. Only one criticism - we booked 2 bedrooms and while there were enough beds it was not 2 bedrooms. It was more like a studio (bed in the living area) with a back hallway with twin beds end to end. No doors or privacy. OK for a family but not suited to 4 adults travelling together. But the friendly owner and staff, the beautiful setting made up for the somewhat awkward living conditions. I would stay there again without any hesitation.

Emanuela and Carlo were the perfect hosts. Anything to please. Breakfasts were excellent. Too good...had to hold my appetite in check. The room was clean and very comfortable. Outstanding views from the property. Amazing sunsets. If you are able, take the walk down the mountain to Sorrento and behold beautiful views. Wear comfortable footwear and socks. Make sure to enjoy a dinner prepared by Emanuela. Fantastic! Highly recommend this location for a romantic stay.

Amazing

Manuela and her property were simply amazing. She went out of her way to make us feel like family and not just visitors. From homemade breakfasts to the ability to cook us a late last minute meal (that was amazing) to the tranquility to the views... this place can’t be beat. We are so thankful we stayed here and would stay here again in an instant. I’d highly recommend downloading WhatsApp as she communicates easily on there.

Fantastic place, amazing people.

Emanuela, Carlo and Giuseppe are fantastic people who really want to make your experience the best possible. They are incredibly service oriented and the Villa is perfect for visiting many places on the Amalfi Coast. We stayed here for 4 nights, we love the location of the Villa in the hills. So peaceful. It is possible to take a walk down to Sorrento, but home is a bit tougher, we had a car but Emanuela and Giuseppe offered to pick us up and also drive us down to Sorrento If we wanted. We really had a fantastic stay and we will for sure stay longer next time.

An example of perfection, in every shape and form

Everything from the instant we arrived was perfect. Manuela was incredibly helpful, put on a service that is one from which any other hosts could learn and made our stay something remarkable. The place is beautiful, tranquil setting, spectacular views, great sized rooms with all imaginable amenities. The jacuzzi and the lemon garden in particular are something to make the most of. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer

Our favorite place we stayed

This is by far the best place we stayed while touring Europe. We just felt a sense of peace and comfort here. Emanuela and Carlo could not have been better hosts. They took care of everything and made us feel so welcomed, like we were old friends. We received courtesy transportation from the Train station as well as to the ferry port without charge. They will also pick you up from Sorrento town or reimburse you for your bus tickets. We loved the grounds and the view! We were treated to omelets and cappuccino in the morning all with an ocean view. Although we did not partake, dinner and drinks are available on site. For those traveling with children, our suite #5 had a king bed, two additional twin beds in a separate area and kitchen and dining table. It was perfect for us and we can not wait to come back to this beautiful B&B and to enjoy more of Sorrento.

Beautiful Villa Carolina.

An amazing hotel, beautiful setting on hill above Sorrento. Hosts Emanuela and Carlo could not be more welcoming. Fantastic, spacious rooms, well appointed, beautifully furnished. Breakfast array with huge choice of cereals, fruits, breads, Ema's fresh baked savouries and cakes. True Italian welcome in the most beautiful place. Views above Sorrento and Bay of Naples are spectacular. Beautiful terraces and gardens to enjoy views and a drink. Nothing too much trouble. Emanuela cooks evening meals on request with produce from the organic garden and best local ingredients. A relaxing , beautiful place in which to relax or visit all the local attractions, Ema and Carlo give vast local knowledge and advice to help you make the best of the Sorrento area. Cannot rate Villa Carolina highly enough. "Come as strangers, leave as friends" We will be back, soon.

Excellent hosts, beautiful views

The rooms were clean and spacious. We were on the top floor of the house and were treated with a beautiful patio and view to match. The hosts were very helpful and would provide us with a ride into Sorrento or nearby restaurants if needed.

Accueil magnifique, nous avons mangé sur place le premier soir et c'était un régal. Le gîte offre un service de navette.... Seul bémol, mais il vaut mieux en rire est l'étroitesse de la route finale....

An amazing stay

We had an amazing stay at the villa The staff were great and Emanuella and Carlo were fantastic as was Pepe Would love to go back Also the meals each night were fabulous

Ylivertainen palvelu eli kehuvat arvostelut pitävät täysin paikkansa. Tekevät kaikkensa asiakkaan eteen. Ilmaisia kuljetuksia Sorrenton alueella. Emanuela järjesti kyydin Napoli Centralesta villale (90€). Myös retkiä heidän kauttaan. Erinomainen info alueesta tervetuliaisjuomineen. Kesäkuun viileys myös välillä sisätiloissa eli pitkähihaista mukaan. Keittö olu toumiva ja valmiina oli maitoa, kahvia, teetä, suolaa, pastaa jne. Ruokatarpeita ostettavissa Emanuelalta tai keskustasta. Kaunis näköalareitti 20 min alas cityyn hotelli Hiltonin juurelle. Ei kävelyesteellisille. Emanueöalta saa hyviä vinkkejä kaikkeen. Kannattaa kysyä. Palvelee mielellään. Jos hakee viiden tägden palvelya, täältä sitä saa. Ei haittaa äänieristyspuutteet tai pihan irtokoira (rauhallinen, huh), kun voi kokea harvinaisen välittämusen.

Accueil et vue d'exception

Nous avons fait un excellent passage dans ce B&B; la vue est imprenable et l'endroit très calme même si c'est un peu dur à trouver. Nous avons apprécié les conseils et services donnés par Carolina.

Excelente servicio y trato!!

Excelente trato de los dueños!!! Tienen un servicio de traslado al centro de Sorrento que es muy comodo y util dada la zona de dificil acceso donde se encuentra el hotel. Muy recomendable!!

For Summer, for peacefull recover location

We just stayed one night so not much to inform. However, the location was far aways from the Sorrento city and hard to get public transportation. And the room was not enough clean and the water pressure was low. Nevertheless, Staff was very very nice.
