"We booked a long-term stay for December 2025 through January 2026 for our wedding, honeymoon, and winter break. On December 30, 2025, housekeeping entered our cottage and left the door open. Our dog escaped during this time. We were not notified for approximately two hours. The property owner did not contact us directly or provide an incident report. Our dog, Pax, has been missing since that date. As of writing this review, it has been 34 days.
The property also had multiple maintenance issues...

"We have had the best vacation staying at Kontiki Curacao Beach Resort. Over the years, we have traveled to many countries and stayed at multiple hotels and resorts. However, none of the places we stayed before has shown as much love, attention, and quality of service as the management team here at Kontiki. The staff here is amazing. The food is superb. "The young lady who checked us in was amazing and very kind and helpful. I did not get her name but she had short blond hair. She was great. There were also several other employees who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Chunalies greeted us with a warm smile and graciousness from our first encounter until we left.
