"I would love to give a better review, but the office was not helpful, nor have they been responsive since. I booked a 2 night stay and tried to change it via the instructions from the hotel, but never received a response. When I showed up for my 2 night stay (as per my confirmation) the hotel had changed it to the one night stay without informing me or Expedia. I had to find another hotel, since they were fully booked for the night. For my trouble, Expedia was willing to pay for the night at another hotel, and then I was supposed to repack everything and move to the Staybridge. I informed Expedia that I would not have time (nor the inclination) to change hotels after one night. They advised me to stay at the new hotel and they would work to get me a refund if Staybridge charged me for the room that I was supposed to stay in. Of course, they charged me (it was pay at the hotel, not in advance.) I called Expedia and they have been working to get my refund, but have been unable to reach anyone with the power to do so. I tried calling as well and was told that I’d have to call back. I was also told by the staff that I “shouldn’t use these 3rd party booking sites because ‘things like this happen.” I think I’ll just stop staying at Staybridge Suites instead."
