"Staff at check-in and check out were rude. No sign on door stating no pets were allowed in this area. My dog was carried the entire time but staff were super critical and hyper focused on her presence. Talking to us in a condescending way. The pet fee was $90. Won't stay here again."

"The staff here is top notch! They communicated via text to welcome us and let us know to advise them of any needs. Addie is amazing! She did a great job with answering our questions and checking on us throughout the stay. The grounds are extremely clean. They do an excellent job of maintaining the building also ans cleaning the rooms. Everything about this place is top notch! In fact, this was our 2nd stay. We loved it so much the first time we were here a weekend ago, that we decided to come...

"This place is a perfect place to stay. Specially with kids, you have the beach and pool within walking distance. The food was very tasteful. The service at the pool provided by Mackenzie was great, she was always on point with everything we ordered. Then you have the tiki hut with live music and drinks. Very family friendly atmosphere."

"The property was nice and pet friendly. However the day of check out they were having the water worked on which threw off my plans for that morning. Couldn’t swim or go to the beach because I was not able to come back and shower. Everything else went well during the trip."

"Rick provides an excellent breakfast and some great conversation. Definitely better than the regular boring hotel. The parking lot is small, so maybe bring a midsize or compact vehicle vs a full size crew cab truck."

"The property was in prime location. Just a few minutes to the beach by foot. Literally five minutes. Location was perfect. You can walk just a few blocks and be in the downtown area where you can get food and drinks without any worries about driving. The motel was cute and vintage. Very adorable. Great for a few nights day. If you don’t mind a tiny house living the Royal Palms is the perfect place."

"This is a great value stay on Island. I particularly enjoy the fridge/freezer so I can refreeze the ice packs for my cooler. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are very clean and spacious. I've stayed several times with no complaints."

"Had an awesome stay! The room was clean and the bed was nice and comfy. You could tell the sheets were softer than average hotel sheets. The pool was clean and they had towels by the pool. Loved the contactless check in, made it quick and easy especially since we got there late."
