The Manhattan at Times Square
4/10 Poor
"The staff was nice and helpful. I was safe and out of the elements. The bed was comfortable. The subway can be heard under the hotel throughout the night; I was on the 11th floor and might as well have been in the subway with just a wall between me and the train. The walls are paper thin so I heard 100% of everything my neighbors were saying and doing, and they were up all night. The neighboring doors slam so loud that it shakes the room... all night. The bathrooms were pretty bad, was very glad to have worn disposable slippers. The lamp was mangled, inside fixture falling apart, incandescent bulb on on side, flopped over, and a fluorescent twisty bulb on the other side. One of the lamps in the room didn't have a working on/off switch so it just stayed on all night. This is the first and last stay at this property."

Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great location, beautiful property. They charged some sort of a tax , $40.00 daily. They said it would be offset by giving us $35.00 daily in credit to the room to use in the Starbucks or bar inside the hotel. We tried to use it but the Starbucks has 2 workers and a 1 hour line and the bartenders made terrible drinks and the bar staff was so rude."

"Cleannroom"

Hotel Edison Times Square
10/10 Excellent
"Didn ’t know expect walking into the room to see it dirty with water bottles around and flowers in the sink and on the counters. Everything else though was nice and clean. Great location for Times Square. I did not enjoy having to tell the staff 3 times about the mess before it was cleaned up. Other than that everything else was absolutely great."

Paramount Times Square – A Generator Hotel
6/10 Okay
"I stayed 2 nights, May 29th and 30th and checked out Sunday 31st. When me and my husband got to the hotel around 9am, we asked the lady at the desk, she had glasses on and she was very pleasant, she told us that we could check our bags and that she would call us if we could check in earlier, very helpful, her name started with an S, but awesome customer service. The guy at bag check was really nice to. The same lady called me around twelve and said that we could check in earlier, so that was nice. When we got to the hotel soon after the same lady from 9am wasn't at the check in desk. There was another woman there, she spoke Spanish, and she wasn't as pleasant as the lady in the morning. So I walked to the desk and said I got a call to check in earlier, she asked my name, and told me my remaining balance for the room, I paid and she gave me the room keys 🔑, we got our bag from bag check and went on the elevator to go to the room. We are in the elevator, press the floor number and nothing happened, the elevator started moving to whatever floor and a worker gets on the elevator and taps her card on a box thing in the elevator, so I asked her how to get to the floor of our room and she said we have to tap our room key on the box thing and wait for it to turn green 💚 then press the floor we are going to, we did that and it didn't work, she said she front desk person didn't activate the room keys. So we had to go back down stairs to the 1st floor and go back to the front de"

"I wish a kettle was available in the room, the shower door was not closing properly so after you take a shower you must clean the washroom floor."

"Enjoyed the stay however the keys to the room wasn’t working very well and took many try’s to get into the room. However very clean and staff was nice and enjoyed the rooftop!"

New York Marriott Marquis

"Needed to ask a question at the check in desk. There was one lady working the “regular” side and 5 working on the “elite” line. Even when the elite line was clear, one lady worked her butt off on the long regular line. I understand that the elite members have spent more money than us peons, however we have to be willing to stay with you again in order to spend more money. This is unfair to your guests as well as your employees. Do better."
