Paramount Times Square – A Generator Hotel
8/10 Good
"Came here for Harry Styles and it was GREAT! The room is small, but it makes sense since its New York. The workers were all amazing and super helpful, our shower wouldnt drain and a sweet lady came in and vacuumed the water out of our tub at 3 AM!!!! The receptionists also gave some great recommendations for us to visit around the city. If you are in your 20's and going on a fun trip I definitely recommend this hotel. Great ambiance, wifi was a bit spotty, but the walls were thick enough to drown on the city noise and the people in other rooms. Location of the hotel is also very convenient everything is pretty much walking distance, if not the subway is not too far."

"This hotel is very affordable, nice, clean, safe and in the middle of Manhattan, so convenient and close to Times Square which is a hard find! It was not even noisy when trying to sleep. There is a store and deli next door open 24- 7 with drinks, ice, snacks including healthy options too like fruit and real food most of the day that is really good. They also sell glass bottle sodas, even diet ones so bring a bottle opener. There is no frig or microwave, so bring a small cooler if you can. We brought a cooler backpack and also used it for packing. They do have ice and the employees were all wonderful! They only have queen beds, no king, which was fine for us as a couple, small bathroom and elevators, but they were fine. Plenty of drawers and closet space to unpack your luggage. Great restaurants and things to do are all around, and it is easy to access the Subway or free Staten Island ferry to go to all other parts of the city as well. We would probably bring a small fan next time if a hot time of year again. You can only set air to the lowest setting for a couple hours at a time before it resets to a few degrees higher, probably to save money and not overload the power grid. Was not bad at all during the day, but sometimes in the middle of the night trying to sleep got just a little warm at times. This may become a regular stay for us. Our daughter just started to go to college close to the city and we plan on visiting a lot more!"

"Very safe hotel in a prime location if you’re in the city to see Broadway shows! Walkable to theaters and restaurants, close to subway. The rooms are on the smaller side and the lighting isn’t always great, but the goal isn’t to spend the day in the hotel! Appreciated the room darkening blinds and how quiet it was. I’ve stayed several times and will be back!"

"The roof top bar area was beautiful! Great vibes! The location of the hotel was wonderful!!! So close to everything you need and central park! My room was surprisingly a decent size compared to the last hotel experience I had. The showers were awesome!! Loved it!!! The staff was helpful and very attentive anytime we needed anything or simply just asking a question! I would definitely stay there again on a future visit!!"
