"Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money. There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day. We can highly recommend this hotel."

"The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. "There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning."

"The room was cosy, nicely decorated, a good size, and with a large and comfortable bed; it would have cost two or three times as much in a hotel - and that's without the generous and tasty cooked breakfast (there are other options on the menu) which - like the excellent WiFi - is included. The shower was a good size, but (and this is my only reservation, which I'm sure will be addressed) had poor water pressure. Parking space is for 2, maybe 3 cars (depending how the others park!), but free...

"We had a lovely stay in the Beacon View accommodation. It has a back deck with a superb view so we were disappointed it rained for the whole time lol. Perfect spot for exploring the South Downs National Park, or hopping to Lewes, or like us a day trip to Drusillas Zoo...."
