"The word “resort” in the name is a little bit inappropriate as this is a very basic motel. It was clean, and the staff was very friendly, but there were some every day items and small details that were missed that would have made this a better stay. I found somebody else’s trash in the room, the towels were very limited. Normally a hotel will put extra bags underneath the bag in the trash. Once I used one bag, there were no extra bags. The toilet kept getting clogged every time I used it. The USB port on the nightstand did not work so I had to find outlets and charge all of my electronics around the room and couldn’t keep the phone close to the bed. There was only a refrigerator and nothing like a simple small microwave. Most rooms have a small microwave or a coffee pot, but this had neither. The corner of the contour sheet kept coming off the mattress as the sheets were too tight for the mattress . Where there weren’t very many restaurants in the area and only supermarkets, it was hard for me to find something to eat that I didn’t have to use a microwave for so I was stuck eating fast food, which is not the type of food I would normally eat. The nearest coffee or supermarket was over 10 minutes away by car. These things independently wouldn’t have bothered me, but collectively it was a struggle."
