Gary was an excellent host and so knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delightful. The room we stayed in was a little small as was the bathroom. Shower gel is always more preferable to soap too. An enjoyable short stay and a lovely property. Thanks for your help Gary!

This must be one of the most interesting hotels to stay in all the world with this amazing theme of story telling. Everything about it was fabulous from checkin to checkout. We only stayed one night but wished we had planned for longer. Why? The roo was enormous, well equipped and with a great bed and bedding. The view over the waterfront was sensational. It was so quiet at night so great sleep. The evening meal was very high quality from a sensibly short menu but with a good wine list. ...

Individually styled delightful and comfortable ‘Gardeners Cottage’

Once we'd managed to get the key code for entry everything was great. Nice location close to the beach and general stores which was well stocked- great meat for the BBQ and everything else we might need. Breakfast arrived promptly before 8am - delicious warm bread and selection of butter and jams that was enough for our lunch too as well as yummy yoghurt and fruit ramekins. The Henry Jones Art Hotel has a fantastic location right by Elizabeth Street Pier, and is surrounded by a plethora of seafood restaurants - it’s conveniently located for walking around the docks and/or Hobart city centre. The room was great, and the reception staff were excellent - I needed a couple of documents to be printed and (later) scanned to PDF, and the staff were very helpful. Metered street parking is available, but at A$35 per night we took advantage of the hotel’s valet parking...

Excellent location for visiting the Salamanca Market and the ferry for MONA, our room had a great view out over the bay. Friendly helpful staff, hotel with a long history but felt up to date for all we needed/wanted. Really comfortable bed

Lovely quite location with an amazing view. The bed so really comfortable and the shower had good flow and plenty of hot water. Check in and check out was a breeze, coffee machine and own BBQ was a bonus also. There are facilities to wash you clothes although we did not use them. Parking was not an issue. I would highly recommend this accommodation

A really well equiped apartment with helpful staff in a good position. They even provided us with a luggage scale so a stress free return flight.

Stayed 3 nights at Clydesdale Manor at the end of a Tasmania road trip. It’s a beautiful building inside and out, with nice gardens and plenty of parking. It’s a couple of kilometres outside the centre of Hobart. it’s walkable in half an hour, which is fine if you’re going there for the day, but a bit inconvenient for dinner/drinks in the evening unless you don’t mind driving or taking taxis.
