"A Truly Peaceful Retreat My stay at Last Word Constantia was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment I arrived, there was a sense of calm and serenity that made it easy to relax and unwind. The atmosphere throughout the property is beautifully peaceful, with a warmth and quiet elegance that makes you feel instantly at home. The room was exceptional: spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed with every comfort you could need. It felt luxurious without being overly formal, creating the perfect balance between indulgence and relaxation. Waking up to the tranquil surroundings was a real highlight. A couple of my favourite details were: crème brûlée left in my room as a treat. Simply delicious. Also finding a perfectly prepared gin and lemon waiting in my room, a small gesture that immediately made me feel looked after. It's these little surprises that set Last Word apart What makes Last Word Constantia so special is the combination of impeccable comfort, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere of complete peace. It's a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to truly switch off and enjoy the moment. I left feeling refreshed, rested, and already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended."

"I have to say the whole place excelled. Our room was lovely and the estate was beautifully kept. Dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The service was the best - attentive and provided with a smile. The cherry on the cake were the wild owls in the tree outside reception. Brilliant. Many thanks we had a lovely time."

"Such a wonderful 5* hotel to stay at! The staff are so welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast and the beef bobotie (my favourite SA dish, other than steak!) that I had for dinner was delicious. Nice large swimming pool (there is a second pool also). New gym with a lovely big window when you’re on the treadmill or the bike! Excellent new spa facilities also."

"Had a great stay. The airport shuttle is quite costly (was quoted R520) so ended up Ubering. The food from the kitchen is really good and worth the try. The breakfast is only available from 6:30am. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. The staff is friendly and the rooms are really clean."
